The Gothees started their illustrious career
by doing electrifying, bar-top dances by night and working as welders
by day. Then, one sunny afternoon, whilst sitting uponst a log in the swamp playing
their banjos, the Gothees realized there were better things ahead. But even those
could wait, because first there had to be bubblegoth.

The original concept behind the Gothees:
to reinterpret those diabetically sweet bubblegum tunes and made for television
songs from the late 60s and early 70s, and make them frightening and gothic; while
simultuneously mixing in a few moody and morose Goth tunes - garishly over-sweetened
with tooth-rotting charm. |
